Congratulations to the following EP businesses and local governments for receiving Federal/State funding as follows:

• Ferretti International have received $2 million for a steel processing facility at Whyalla throught the State Government’s Regional Growth Fund and $750,000 through the Federal Government’s Manufacturing Modernisation Fund;
• Eyre Peninsula Ocean Jacket Fishery Export Cluster have received $740,000 for processing and packaging infrastructure at Mori Seafoods through State Government’s Regional Growth Fund;
• Yumbah Hatchery Pty Ltd received $400,000 to establish a ‘spat bank’ through the State Government’s Regional Growth Fund; and
• District Council of Streaky Bay have received $900,000 for upgrading of Moore’s boat ramp through the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Funding and the State Government’s Boating Facilities Fund.

Regional Development Australia Eyre Peninsula (RDAEP) has provided advice and support to these local businesses and Council and acknowledges the jobs and investment it will bring to the region.  A good win for the Eyre Peninsula!
