Snapper closure locations and times – see MAP
Two Snapper fishing closures are in place to help stocks recover. During these closures the targeting, take and possession of Snapper is prohibited in the following waters.
- West Coast / Spencer Gulf / Gulf St Vincent waters:
- Total Snapper closure until 11.59 pm on 31 January 2023.
- South East waters:
- Seasonal closure from 12:01 am on 1 November to 11.59 pm on 31 January each year.
