Eyre Dental, an all-new multi-surgery dental clinic has opened its doors for the first time to both public and private patients.
Located in the Mortlock Clinic, Eyre Dental is part of a group of family owned dental practices that is wholly independent from corporate ownership.
Exclusively, Eyre Dental is also able to offer outreach dental services to the community through the provision of “our best practice portable dental equipment” as the only accredited partner of the Dental Outreach Aged Care Program” and “Grow Up Smiling” Children’s Dental Program for the greater Eyre Peninsula and Whyalla region.
RDAWEP in conjunction with EPLGA fully supported the application and believe that the importance of oral health should not be underestimated, and that all members of the community are entitled to have access to a reliable and ongoing dental service.
Offering short term appointments, with personalised treatment plans and options to regulate with each patient’s lifestyle, health and financial circumstances.
With no upfront contacts or formal arrangements with health insurance providers, Eyre Dental offers general dental check-ups through to complex dental services including dental trauma, minor oral surgery, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral pathology and sleep apnoea solutions.
The clinic officially opened with a Health Network function on the 4th June featuring a walkthrough of the new facility and a brief presentation from Brett Miller – Australian Practice Manager of the Year 2017and SA/NT Branch President of AAPM. In addition, a short presentation was also given by a representative from Country SA PHN regarding the “Health Pathways’ program and the future vision for the Eyre Peninsula Health Network.
