Wotif have launched their latest countrywide initiative, The Festival of Wot? to invigorate domestic tourism and celebrate Australia’s unique quirks.

Following the success of Australia’s Next Big Thing, where Wotif gifted Chinchilla, QLD with The Big Melon – this year’s initiative will again shine a light on domestic tourism while celebrating what makes Australia unique.

This year, the search is on to find towns, cities and suburbs that have something they’d like to be famous for, with Wotif set to gift one deserving Aussie location a new festival in honour of celebrating their unique claim to fame.

With a smorgasbord of destinations on offer around Australia, Wotif’s latest initiative encourages Aussies to take the off ramp and spend more time discovering destinations beyond their tried and tested favourites.

They would love Eyre Peninsula to have a go!

From now until 18 August, Wotif want to hear about the great stories and characters on the EP and before the end of the year, Wotif will work with the winning destination to create an experience that locals love and is worth travelling for.
