The Port Lincoln cruise ship season has kicked off with the arrival of the Pacific Jewel on 5th December.

Once again, the region turned on a great day for passengers and the streets were full of people.  The feedback from passengers is wonderful with many saying how beautiful the city is and that they are keen to come back for a holiday.
With 5 visits this year and 10 currently scheduled for the 2017/18 season bringing up to 25,000 passengers and crew, the economic benefit of the cruise market is significant.  Port Lincoln City Council should be congratulated on the professional manner in which they are managing and building opportunities around theses visits.
