Held at the new Optus Stadium in Perth on Friday 23rd February, the awards recognise and promote excellence in tourism, showcasing the best in outstanding customer service, innovation and ongoing business excellence.

Calypso Star Charters received silver in the Tourist Attractions category which is a major achievement and one better than they went in 2016.

To have a Port Lincoln tourism operator recognised as the second best in Australia is something our region should be enormously proud of and RDAWEP extends a huge congratulations to General Manager Andrew Wright, wife Nicol, Janet Forster and to all Calypso’s dedicated staff.

Calypso also took out bronze in the Adventure Tourism category.

The team are going from strength to strength and their recognition is due credit for the enormous hard work that goes on to continuously improve and promote the region as being on everyone’s destination bucket list.
