The Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation Education Fund was established in 2016 and awards Tertiary Scholarships to provide financial support for Eyre Peninsula educated students who are studying or planning to study at a university in South Australia after completion of year 12.

The Foundation Board is pleased to announce Brooklyn Binns, Chloe Blackham and Tristan Ryan have been awarded Tertiary Scholarships of $2,000 each for 2020. The Foundation Board congratulates all recipients and wishes them well with their studies.

Brooklyn Binns is from Port Lincoln, attended St Joseph’s School and is now studying a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Adelaide.

Chloe Blackham is from Ceduna, attended Ceduna Area School and is now studying a Bachelor of Science – Marine Biology (Honours) at Flinders University.

Tristan Ryan is from Elliston, St Joseph’s School and is now studying a Bachelor of Marine Biology at the University of Adelaide.

Recipient Brooklyn Binns said “I’d like to thank the Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation for awarding me with this generous scholarship and giving me the opportunity to do my best at University.”

The Foundation carefully manages a growing base of donated funds and works with philanthropic and other partners to ensure the best possible value and impact from each of its community projects, regional student advancement and home hospice services on Eyre Peninsula.

The Foundation is supported by the invaluable work of the Book Bazaar volunteers and committed administrative staff.
