On 10 April 2018, the Hon Dr John McVeigh MP, Minister for Regional Development, Territories and Local Government, and Mr Rowan Ramsey MP, Member for Grey announced the successful Regional Jobs and Investment Package (RJIP) grant recipients for Upper Spencer Gulf.

The program’s intended outcomes are to drive economic growth and create jobs in ten pilot regions by investing in projects that will diversify regional economies, stimulate long term growth, deliver sustainable employment and, enable applicants to enter new markets and sectors.

Jesko Pty Ltd – Industrial Dry Cleaning Value Added Processing Facility
Whyalla Aged Care Inc – Construction of a Community Centre and Lifestyle Village
Max Crane and Equipment Hire (SA) Pty Ltd – Max Cranes Wind and Renewables Sector Heavy Lift Expansion Project
Ice Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd – Whyalla Heavy Industry Manufacturing and Services Hub Project
Fitzgerald Bay
Clean Seas Seafood Ltd – Clean Seas Expansion to Fitzgerald Bay and Point Lowly
