Regional Development Australia Whyalla and Eyre Peninsula is a dynamic organisation committed to development of business, commercial activity and growth of the region’s economy. The purpose of the role is to implement or facilitate implementation of actions outlined within Whyalla’s Masterplan for Disability and Ageing.

ROLE. Key objectives of this position include:

  • Developing, implementing and managing priority projects and actions outlined within Whyalla’s Masterplan for Disability and Ageing 2025.
  • Actively engaging Disability and Ageing industry and community stakeholders in Whyalla and the surrounding region to facilitate implementation of the plan and its actions.
  • Building strong linkages with the Disability and Ageing network in the region including service providers, accommodation providers, Local, State and Federal Government agencies.
  • Coordinating with team members across a range of project related activity.

PERSON: The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; a successful track record in planning, implementing and managing projects; experience undertaking research and analysis of issues with the ability to prepare high quality reports on findings; use initiative, contribute to, and coordinate a team effort and strong computer literacy are essential to the position. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with a sound working knowledge of the Health, Disability and/or Aged care industry will be highly regarded.
