The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure wants your feedback on rules for protecting our environment and natural resources under the new Planning and Design Code.

The Natural Resources and Environment Policy Discussion Paper outlines the key issues our state is facing in managing resources like land and water as well as planning for climate change. It looks at how critical environmental issues will affect or be affected by planning policy in the state’s new planning system.

A report based on feedback received on the Natural Resources and Environment Policy Discussion Paper will be circulated to all engagement participants early next year following the close of consultation on Monday 3 December 2018.
