The search is on for the State’s best and brightest vocational education and training students, apprentices, employers, training organisations and teachers.

The South Australian Training Awards (the Awards), hosted by the Training and Skills Commission are the State’s peak awards for Vocational Education and Training, recognising quality, excellence and innovation in training.

This year there are 11 awards, including six for individuals and five for organisations award categories that recognise and reward innovative approaches to training: the Small Employer of the Year, Medium Employer of the Year, Large Employer of the Year, Industry Collaboration, and Training Provider of the Year awards. See the relevant criteria document related to the category you are applying for, or read the nomination book.

Returning this year, the Small Employer of the Year award recognises a business of 19 or fewer employees that have achieved excellence in providing nationally recognised training to its personnel.

Information sessions will be held at the Education Development Centre, Hindmarsh on Monday 19 March 2018 :
• Individual awards – 9.15am – 10.30am
• Organisation awards – 11.00am – 12.15pm

Telling your training story is incredibly powerful, so the Commission encourages students, employers, registered training organisations and teachers/trainers to nominate and be in the running to be recognised and rewarded for commitment, innovation and professional approaches to training.

Join the conversation by following @TSCommission and using #SATrainingAwards and sharing the posts to assist with promoting the awards.

Nominations close at 5pm on Monday, 9 April 2018, and the South Australian Training Awards presentation dinner will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday 7 September 2018.
