Short Courses on offer at TAFE SA

  • Tag & Test; In-service Inspection & Testing
    This course is designed using the maximum of practical experience and real life testing examples and demonstrations.  Students who complete this course will be deemed as competent under the legislation and Australian Standard AS/NZS3760:2010. 
    This course covers safety testing of electrical cord connected assemblies.  It covers working safely with electricity using portable appliance testers, identifying faults, applying tagging, arranging for repair of faulty equipment and complete testing documentation.

  • Low Voltage (LV) Rescue and Resuscitation
    This course provides you with the skills to manage the danger of accidental electrocution.  At the completion of the course you will be competent to rescue and provide resuscitation to a person who has stopped breathing or is unconscious to electrical shock.
