Jobs in emerging industries were the focus of South Australia’s biggest employment exhibition – JOBEX – which was held in Adelaide, Port Augusta and Murray Bridge in November.
The State Government partnered with employers including Santos, BAE Systems, Fleet Space Technologies and leading tertiary institutions to host the event, which was attended by thousands of job seekers, graduates and students.
Employers showcased career pathways and job opportunities in five growing sectors: defence and ship building, health and research, IT and hi-tech, energy and mining, and tourism, food and wine.

The JOBEX seminars cover a range of topics from resume writing to hi-tech entrepreneurship to tourism and hospitality jobs from more than 20 speakers and panellists.
