Life changes – be prepared
An information forum in Cummins Hall on Thursday 3rd August and Tumby Bay RSL Hall on Friday 4th August will help families:
- Discover the options for Aged Care in your community
- Explore the costs, benefits and advantages of the various care options
- Discuss the importance of Advance Care Directives in ensuring your wishes are understood and followed
- Learn how to use technology to find and engage a service provider
Presentations held from 10 – 1pm each day and then repeated 2 – 5pm each day.
Hear about myagedcare and MyGov essential registration for anyone, and what is available for residential aged care, independent living, and in home services. Talk to service providers who will have information booths for you to discuss options and gather information for helping make decisions.
THE NACs EXPO – in your community
Family members and carers are encouraged to attend and be informed about changes happening in the Aged Care sector. Health services and “Ageing in Place” is important to all of us and our community.
